Dorian Graham Out for Season

“BREAKING via Athletic Dept: 2nd string FS Dorian Graham out for the season. Couzens at practice, details to follow.”

Fizzster Mike Couzens reports Syracuse defensive back Dorian Graham is gone for the season because of injury.

Couzens was oiling the Fizz Twitter Feed Friday at practice.

“BREAKING via Athletic Dept: 2nd string FS Dorian Graham out for the season. Couzens at practice, details to follow.

Graham will have surgery after getting an MRI that showed his shoulder injury.

Marrone on Dorian Graham “He would have been a heavily used special teams player…I feel sorry 4 Dorian b/c of the amnt of work he put in.”

Graham is a St. Thomas Aquinas product from Ft. Lauderdale. The Orange was able to pluck few South Florida kids away to the Northeast during the Groobers Error, but when it did a semi-respectable pipeline was created from this powerhouse program, which is looking for another state title this season.

Marrone’s official comment:¬†“That’s a shame. It doesn’t help having someone like Dorian out. He was competing for a job in the secondary. He would’ve been a heavily used special teams player. I feel sorry for his family. I feel sorry for Dorian because of the amount of work he’s put in to be in the position that he’s in this year. That doesn’t help our football team having him injured and out for the year.”
