C.J. Stroud’s Contract Claim Is ABSURD 💣🏈

0:00
CJ Stroud demanding respect in this
0:03
extension
0:04
after that playoff performance is
0:08
patently absurd.
0:10
If you didn't see this,
0:13
CJ Stroud
0:15
said he held up his end of the bargain.
0:19
He did his part. And now basically the
0:22
onus is on the Texans front office to do
0:24
the extension. This is the exact moment
0:27
that the Miami Dolphins gave Tua all of
0:31
that cash. And that obviously imploded
0:34
in their face. That was an exploding
0:35
cigar.
0:37
CJ Stroud just authored
0:40
the only playoff performance ever in NFL
0:45
history no quarterback had done what CJ
0:48
Stroud just did in one post-season which
0:52
only was two games.
0:54
CJ Stroud had five interceptions and
0:58
five fumbles. Nobody's ever done that.
1:02
Let me reiterate. There's been a many
1:04
quarterback that have played four games
1:07
in the NFL playoffs, wild card,
1:10
divisional, championship, and then a
1:11
Superbowl.
1:13
He played two. Nobody's ever had five
1:17
INTs and five fumbles in the same
1:19
post-season. He just did it. And to
1:21
after that to say I've done my part for
1:25
an extension, oh, no, you haven't. No,
1:28
you haven't because we can all agree on
1:30
this.
1:32
Had CJ Stroud just been a little bit
1:34
better, let's just say he wasn't a
1:35
disaster. Let's just say he was
1:37
pedestrian. Let's just say he didn't
1:41
firsthand try to give away two games.
1:46
The Texans could have easily played in
1:47
the Superbowl.
1:49
They could have easily played in the
1:50
Superbowl. I mean, had the Texans had
1:53
any type of offense in Foxboro
1:57
with the defense that they put together
2:00
and had CJ Stroud not give the ball away
2:02
time after time after time, they could
2:05
have been
2:06
in an AFC Championship game versus
2:09
Jarrett Stidham.
2:11
I mean, come on.
2:13
CJ Stroud was essentially the reason the
2:17
Texans didn't play in a Super Bowl. And
2:19
he has the gall to say, "I've done my
2:21
part."
2:23
Man, that's the guy that doesn't get it.
2:25
And I understand this is a leverage
2:27
play. I understand this is a moment
2:29
where you've got to play like you're
2:30
confident
2:32
because they've got to pay you and you
2:34
want the extension. You want that big
2:36
money, but I don't want to hear that. I
2:38
don't want to hear that. I don't want to
2:40
hear that as your talking point. I've
2:42
done my part.
2:43
Come on. How can you possibly look
2:46
yourself in the mirror? How can you
2:48
watch a clip of yourself on social
2:50
media? How can you possibly pull up
2:52
YouTube, see a screen, and see a video
2:55
or a quote of you saying that and feel
2:58
like that's real?
3:01
Like that's legitimate.
3:03
Man, you
3:04
almost gave away the game against the
3:06
Steelers and did give away the game
3:09
against the Patriots.
3:12
And that's all that matters, man.
3:15
Those games. Because that team and that
3:18
defense and that division is good enough
3:19
to get you to the playoffs every single
3:21
year as we've seen.
3:22
What you need to do is help elevate that
3:25
team on the offensive side of the
3:26
football cuz the defense, they're good.
3:29
Will Anderson's, he's holding up his end
3:31
of the bargain.
3:33
That defense, holding up their end of
3:36
the bargain.
3:37
DeMeco Ryans' D, holding up their end of
3:39
the bargain. He's holding up his end of
3:41
the bargain.
3:42
The guy that isn't, you, CJ.
3:46
You should have played in the Super
3:47
Bowl.
