Syracuse Defense Gets Shredded by Tennessee

What's up, Phiz Nation? Tyler Aiken was just on the call for W.A.R. of Syracuse's 9670 loss to number three, Tennessee, here in Knoxville

It was ugly for pretty much the whole second half, some of the first half. The first half was overall okay

You thought maybe Syracuse hit some free throws and it's a closer game. But the second half, Syracuse could not buy a stop on defense

And he knew coming into this game that J.J. Starling being out was going to have a major impact on the game

but what was really more disappointing was the total lack of defense

Syracuse tried the zone. Syracuse tried man to man and let Tennessee walk all over at 96 points

and the volunteers didn't shoot particularly well on the first half either. And so it's going to be really interesting to see what Syracuse does against Notre Dame on Saturday

because you can't let this negative momentum carry on. Conference play starts

You have a winnable game against Notre Dame. That is a must win

You've got to figure out the defense. defensive end. You got to figure out who's going to be bringing the ball up

Jayquan Carlos played 37 minutes after the game Adrian Autry said he's the main ball handler

He's the only one he feels comfortable with controlling the pressure, controlling against the

pressure of a good defense. I watched the game the whole time. I don't know about that

So clearly there's some issues on both sides of the ball. J.J. Starling won't be playing

anytime soon. A lot more questions than answers that we got here in Knoxville, Tennessee

So next Saturday, this Saturday, actually, against Notre Dame, that's a must watch game
