All is Fair in Love and Basketball

Right now The Fizz has tracked CJ Fair down in L.A. at the 5th Annual Pangos All American Camp.

Checking in with another member of the Class of ’10,¬†The Fizz takes a look at¬†C.J. Fair.

Your¬†Fizz Refresher, Fair is a 6’8″ junior at Baltimore’s College City High.

He’s a slinky southpaw who’s on the road from¬†ACL surgery recovery right now.

C.J. is also a featured part of¬†ESPN’s Class of 2010 Team Recruiting Rankings along with fellow future teammates Dion Waiters and Baye Moussa Keita.

Right now The Fizz has tracked Fair down in L.A. at the 5th Annual Pangos All American Camp.

The tagline for the camp? “This national camp has served as a ‘coming out’ party for many top past and current All-Americans.”

Well alright.

The Fizz hopes the coming out part was on the basketball side of things.

Reports say Fair was working heavily on his mid-range jumper and that he was working easily out to 18 feet.

Keep in mind he didn’t even play his junior season in high school while recovering from his knee injury.

The camp also features Steve Lavin as a guest speaker. (But who cares about him when his wife looks like this!)

C.J. still has a while to go before heading up to the ‘Cuse but he’ll certainly help with the scoring.

He averaged 20 and 6 as a sophomore and can play both forward spots. The picture above illustrates just how shocked he was to see A.O. brick ten free throws in a row at practice this year.

As one of the three guys making SU a top ten recruiting class, Fair helps a group that can only improve with names like Fab Melo also on the horizon.

The Fizz is owned, edited and operated by Damon Amendolara. D.A. is an ’01 Syracuse graduate from the Newhouse School with a degree in Broadcast Journalism.
