Bonus Points if you can Spell Ypsilanti

There is always another apple on the tree, so keep an eye out for class of 2010 QB Terrance Moore.

Quarterback giveth. Quarterback taketh away. Yesterday, signal-caller

Jacoby Walker committed to Kansas after a recruitment which included Syracuse and four Big 12 schools (BTW Need anymore evidence Marrone is clearly extending the recruiting trail outside the northeast?).

There is always another apple on the tree, however, so keep an eye out for class of 2010 QB Terrance Moore.

Right now Moore is considering Syracuse, along with Louisville, Indiana and Toledo.

It may not be politically correct to make a Michael Vick reference, but if anyone played Madden 2005, then you know how fast this kid can run.

Strangely enough, he also wears the number 7.

What may be even harder to believe is that he is only 14 and 15 years old in this video and he may be liable for several broken ankles. (Hey healthcare ain’t cheap these days!)

One blog commenter on had this to say about Moore:

“He threw for 1200 yards and 12 td’s before his 15th birthday. Under center or shot gun. Fullback and tight end or spread. He threw the fade, post, hard slant and deep out with amazing footwork. Poised. Also ran well. Looked like an 18 year old. Must see to believe.”

Last season he threw for 1,400 yards and threw for 14 touchdowns according to ESPN.

But according to the¬†Ypsilanti Citizen, Moore “led the Phoenix offensively, recording school records in passing, with 1,275 yards and completions, with 95. Moore accounted for 16 total touchdowns, 9 passing and 7 rushing.”

Heading into his senior season Moore stands at 6’0″ and 175 lbs, but with the discrepancies in Moore’s stats,¬†The Fizz expects him to shoot up four inches and gain 25 pounds. Plus, the school’s weight room was out of use due to construction.

He may not be Donovan-esque, but even the thought of a running quarterback in the Dome is enough to make The Fizz happy.

And the good news is, as long as Terrance can spell Ypsilanti, he will definitely get admission to Syracuse.
