Orange Fizz TV Debuts: Comprehensive Coverage of Syracuse’s Spring Game

The Fizz continues to find new ways to bring you the best Syracuse coverage. In the first ever episode of Orange Fizz TV, we bring you a comprehensive recap of SU’s Spring Game. Like our annual Signing Day Sportscenter, we take a look at every angle of the afternoon, with highlights, interviews and analysis.

Craig Hoffman hosts the full-length webisode. He’s joined by Floyd Little, NFL Hall of Famer, to talk about the new football facilities. We hear from Marcus Sales, Ryan Nassib and Doug Marrone. Team Fizz is all over it: Alex Plavin discusses the offense, Jake Moskowitz looks at the defense, Kevin Fitzgerald dissects Ashton Broyld’s day, and Andrew Kanell talks recruiting.

    Real good coverage guys.

  2. marty says:

Looking forward to watching on youtube. Good work, we needed something like this for a long time.

  3. Derek says:

What they said… would like to have seen a bit more film, but I guess I gotta pay up to see it on Orange All-Access.

It’s interesting that Broyld wasn’t under center too much.

I can’t wait to see how things get mixed up in the Fall with the new guys coming in.

  4. CuseOnly says:

Junior day is never on the same day as the spring game…

What are these guys talking about, it is always on a game day at Syracuse.

    Wow…

Also, why bring up Keon Lyn when getting asked about the safety position?? Did he ask a question about a corner?

And furthermore, why would I care if a 20 year old kid who looked as if he never played a sport in his life is impressed with the play of a D1 athlete on full scholarship ?

  5. Hoffman says:

Thanks much guys! We worked hard on this and look forward to doing a lot more video in the future.

Derek – I wish we could’ve had more video too, but we were only allowed to shoot the first 20 minutes and not a whole lot happened thus the “skimpy” highlights. Not sure why we were so limited considering most spring games these days are on TV, but you take what you can get I guess.

CuseOnly – Junior day was Saturday. That’s an inarguable fact. But thanks for watching.

  6. Frank says:

Good job guys! Orange Fizz TV is the best thing since Orange Juice! Next you are going to have to Stream your radio show online, TWCS.TV, like Axe does. Waiting to watch more episodes.

  7. Hoffman says:

Frank – If Time Warner wants us, we’d love to be on there! We’ll poke the Axeman. Maybe he secretly holding out on us and has pull. Or maybe he doesn’t….

We do stream on TheScore1260.com for the audio though so make sure you check us out there! Really appreciate the kind words.
