Interesting weekend in CNY.
The Futures Tour wrapped up and I left with most of my dignity when it comes to driving distance, along with about 12 new crushes (and in this¬†Fizzster’s opinion, a potential new¬†Fizz Princess to be revealed in Friday’sFizzcast).
Meantime, Syracuse football released its depth chart and D-Dub posted it to his (gasp) syracuse.com blog.
Interesting to note that a couple of incoming players are starters on this years chart, including linebacker Derek Hines and kicker Shane Raupers.
Hearing Coach Casullo on with Axe “hoping and praying” that Raupers isn’t a bust isn’t very comforting, but such is life in Orange Nation. The ‘Cuse has to worry about crossing midfield before kicking anyways.
Media day stuff: the itinerary is set. Golf at 1:00p today, clam bake follows. Tuesday: microphones, notebooks, illiterate twang from West Virginia media, widespread Fizziness.
The lineup for Syracuse includes Doug Marrone, Art Jones and Mike Owen.
You can expect plenty of Fizz Twitter after the tournament this afternoon.
The goal is still clear: beat Schiano.
