Listen to the latest FizzCast:
It was a Couzens-filled FizzCast this week, taking the wheel solo talking NBA Draft reaction and introducing a new recruit from the high school class of 2011. Here are the highlights:
On Andy Rautins getting taken in the second round:
“He goes to the NBA and at 38 РI don’t think anyone expected him to be taken that quickly. I think that’s the discussion that people had. Is he going to be taken in the draft or is he going to sign afterwards? We know how Andy plays, but is it going to translate to the NBA?”
On the ridiculous outfit that Wes Johnson wore:
“He’s got pants that look like they belong on Rodney Dangerfield in Caddyshack. Then he’s got a double breasted jacket that looks like he took it out of a colonial war museum, a green pocket square, and a banana crème pudding yellow shirt and a red tie. Wow.”
On the latest commit to Doug Marrone’s program, Jaston George:
“A middle of the road guy who’s not just a defensive back but an athlete as well. ESPN says if he had a little more size he’d probably be higher in the rankings as well. This is more about bodies at this point than it is about talent. We’re only going into year two of the Marrone era.”
And details on the renovations going on inside Manley field House as the start to tear the bleachers down.
