Both the SU Basketball and Football coaching staffs have been busy hitting the recruiting trail. Here’s who Syracuse is after.
2018 Point Guard David Duke
Over the weekend the Orange officially entered the David Duke sweepstakes. The 2018 combo-guard is rated as a three-star player on 247Sports.com. He is from Massachusetts and attends Cushing Academy, the same prep school Kaleb Joseph played for.
Duke also has offers from Connecticut, Providence and Villanova. He visited all three schools over the weekend, per 247Sports. Kansas is also interested.

2018 Linebacker Hayden Bollinger
The SU staff was the first to offer Bollinger back in December, but now he’s garnering more attention from other schools. The Missouri native plans to visit Kansas State on March 4th, per the Lemming Prep Insider.

2018 Quarterback Chance Amie
ITS A BLESSING TO RECEIVE AN OFFER FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF SYRACUSE!! #orangenationüçä pic.twitter.com/bBlvohpiad

The Orange offered Amie ten days ago. He’s a three-star, dual threat quarterback from Texas.
Amie is currently a hot commodity in the recruiting world. Since SU offered Amie on February 15th, Virginia and Louisiana-Lafayette have followed suit. Before the SU offer, Bowling Green and Iowa State offered the QB. 2018 National Signing Day is a ways away, but this recruitment could very well come down to the wire.
2019 Quarterback Spencer Rattler

This one seems like a long shot. Rattler is a 4-star prospect from Arizona. He already holds offers from Arizona, Arizona State and Colorado. If the Orange could somehow lure the quarterback away from the west coast, that would be a major recruiting victory.
2020 Wide Receiver Johnquai Lewis
Dino Babers loves to offer underclassmen. Lewis is a freshman at Champagnat Catholic in Hialeah, Florida. SU is the first offer for Lewis and his main recruiter is secondary coach Nick Monroe.
Many other schools will eventually enter the Lewis sweepstakes, we’ll see how much stock he puts into SU being first.
