Pittsburgh Steelers
The team is tied at the top of the NFL with the most Super Bowl wins. They had their first win back in 1974. Since the Steelers have won six trophies, and have been there eight times. The last win was in 2008, when the Steelers defeated the Cardinals.
New England Patriots
The Patriots have won six trophies out of eleven appearances, which is pretty impressive. They entered the AFL in 1960 when the team became part of the new league. Their first Super Bowl win happened back in 2001 against the Rams. Coach Belichick and Tom Brady guided the team to all six of their wins. The team won consecutive titles in 2003 and 2004, with Brady becoming a star.
Dallas Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys have won five titles in the NFL. Created in 1960, they won their first NFL championship in 1971 against the Dolphins. With Roger Staubach becoming a Hall of Famer in the 70s, they won another. Then the ’90s landed them three more titles in four years.
San Francisco 49ers
The San Francisco 49ers also have five rings from 1981 to 1994. Bill Walsh was coaching the team when they won against the Bengals for their first crown. They got their fifth in ‘Since the last win in ’94, and have lost twice in the Super Bowl since.
Green Bay Packers
The Green Bay Packers have four Super Bowl wins. The first open dates back to 1967, when the Packers beat the Chiefs in the first Super Bowl. They won the following year again. The last Super Bowl win happened in 2011 when Aaron Rodgers beat the Steelers. The Packers have a number of NFL Championships as well which happened before the Super Bowl.
New York Giants
The New York Giants have a total of four Super Bowl victories since their first match in 1986. Phil Simms was the star of the show that day, astonishing everyone with his performance. In ’90 they beat the Buffalo Bills in one of the greatest games ever. Their most recent title came in 2011 in a battle against the Patriots.
