Stop me if you’ve heard this before: Syracuse’s 2026 recruiting class just got another commitment.
Three-star defensive tackle Walter Frazier committed to the Orange on Monday, giving Syracuse their 25th commit in the class of 2026.
Frazier, from Pennsylvania at the Haverford School, is listed as 6 feet 3 inches and 295 pounds. He’s the third defensive line commit in the class, joining edge rushers Jarius Rodgers and Kamron Wilson.
The three-star is ranked as the 17th-best prospect in the state of Pennsylvania and the 69th-overall prospect in the country at his position. Overall, he is ranked as the 598th-best player available in the 2026 recruiting class.
Syracuse’s class is now ranked 25th overall and the sixth-largest in the country, trailing only USF, USC, North Carolina, Georgia, and Boston College. Frazier joins a talented recruiting class that features the likes of four-star prospects like Amare Gough, the 32nd-overall wide receiver in the country.
Frazier could be the first of multiple commitments for the Orange this week, as four-star safety C.J. Hester and five-star prospects Calvin Russell and Julius Miles are set to announce their decisions.
Hester is expected to announce his commitment on Tuesday, while Hester and Miles are expected to announce their decisions on Saturday. All three prospects are from the state of Florida.
