While Syracuse Basketball has been receiving most of the attention lately from Orange fans, players and coaches on the SU Football staff have been hard at work.

SU’s looking to beef up its 2018 recruiting class. This week the Orange staff hosted recruits for visits and continued to offer players scholarships. Here’s what you need to know.
2018 DE Jayson Oweh
Blessed to receive an offer from the University of Syracuse @CuseFootball @SaylorBlairFB @CoachBabersCuse @CoachReynolds81 pic.twitter.com/2Qfjr0bPDJ

Oweh came away with an offer on his SU visit.
The New Jersey native has only been playing organized football for a year and told NJ.com that he’d like to transition from defensive end to tight end this offseason.
Oweh is also a basketball standout, but wants to play football in college. Boston College, Louisville, Pittsburgh, Rutgers and Wisconsin have all offered Oweh as well.
2018 RB Cooper Lutz
Happy to say I've received my first offer from Syracuse University #domedudes18 üçäüçä pic.twitter.com/wbPpOrpeoE

Dino Babers and company love to be the first school to notice a recruit. Lutz visited the Hill this weekend and came away with his first offer. The Pennsylvania native broke his leg earlier this season while playing for Berks Catholic, but the SU staff still liked what they saw over the weekend.
2018 QB Will Levis
Thank you to the Syracuse staff for an outstanding visit today! üçä#DomeDudes @TheOC_CoachLew @BWardDCoord @CoachSil pic.twitter.com/EiCcOeKadw

Levis is a 3-star quarterback from Connecticut. He’s yet to receive an offer from Syracuse, but has been offered by Columbia, Princeton and Yale. Boston College, Duke and Rutgers have all also shown interest in the QB.
Other visitors
SU also welcomed players from Vineland High School in New Jersey. Last week 2018 quarterback Chase Van Wagoner visited and received an offer as well.

2019 DE D’Sean Perry
Syracuse offered Perry almost a year ago, but the defensive lineman is making headlines this week. SU is in a good position with Perry, according to Scout, but the Florida native really wants Willie Taggart and the Oregon staff to offer.
Right now, the Orange is the only power five offer Perry has received. Bowling Green, Florida Atlantic and Temple have also been in contact.
