Syracuse Football is now 2-2 after a 35-26 loss to LSU. Heading into week five, the challenge doesn’t get easier.
The Orange defense is about to square off against a fiery quarterback in Ryan Finley.
The junior quarterback has 1217 yards through the air this season. That makes him the 17th leading passer of 2017. (Eric Dungey ranks tied for 25th with 1052 yards.)
And his receivers are only helping the cause. Each of them has been catching the ball on nearly all of their targets. As they shake off defenders, Finley maintains his 74.2 percent completion rate.
The Phoenix, AZ native is precise. He moves his feet, he finds receivers up the middle, he slings the ball down the field and he hits his men on the short routes.
While the SU defense has commanded the field recently and has improved with each game this year, the Orange will have to step it up another notch or two to tame Finley and his Wolfpack.
