The three-star player is a Monroeville, Pennsylvania native, currently finishing his junior year at Gateway Senior High School.
247Sports currently has the 5-foot-11-inch tall, 160 pound player ranked as the 1399th best college football prospect nationally, 124th at the athlete position and 27th from the state of Pennsylvania.
On offense, Jackson plays wide receiver, and on defense, he fills the defensive back role. He is skilled with both speed and agility and would serves as a versatile player on his team. Playing in high school now, his height gives him a solid advantage.
Jackson’s commitment comes less than one month after Syracuse sent him an offer on March 29. He also received offers from seven other colleges, according to 247Sports, including Akron, Temple, Baylor, Cincinnati, West Virginia and Kentucky. Syracuse was the last to extend an offer to Jackson.
