What?
Dino Babers has his signature recruit for the 2019 class.
Who?
Lee Kpogba is a three-star on 247Sports.com but a four-star and the 6th ranked outside linebacker in the country by Rivals.com. He’s 6′ 2″ 210 lbs. out of Winston Salem, North Carolina. Florida State, Duke and Tennessee were among his offers. Kpogba was previously committed to West Virginia. He¬†decommitted on October, 9th.
How?
Kpogba announced via Twitter late last night that he will be joining the Orange.

Why?
Kpogba took his official visit to SU the week of the Louisville game and obviously liked what he saw. His closest offer to home was Duke, but Kpogba will get to play in his home state of North Carolina often in the ACC. Syracuse graduates two of its three starting linebackers next season, Kielan Whitner and Ryan Guthrie. There is plenty of room for Kpogba to compete for significant playing time right away. He’s the second linebacker in the 2019 class, joining Canadian Geoffrey Cantin-Arku.
SU has 12 commitments in total. The class of 2018 only featured two¬†four-stars in offensive lineman Qadir White and cornerback Trill Williams.¬†Nothing would signal this program’s upward turn more than drawing more recruits of this caliber.
Watch.
