National Signing Day is two days away. Here’s what you need to know.
Ben Moos leaves Syracuse out of top 3
The tight end target took an official visit to California this past weekend and received an offer. Moos told Scout after the visit that his top three consists of Cal, Fresno State and Louisville.
The Post Standard reported that a post National Signing Day visit to SU would be possible for Moos, but it looks like the Orange was just a little too late here.
Latest on Ifeatu Melifonwu
Melifonwu took his official to Syracuse this past weekend and the Orange appears to be in a good spot.
The safety commit had visited Michigan earlier in the week, but it does not look like Jim Harbaugh extended an offer, according to Big Ten site Landof10.com.
“Grafton (Mass.) 3-star S Ifeatu Melifonwu received a visit from Jim Harbaugh last week, which led to him taking an official visit to Ann Arbor. Melifonwu still hasn’t been offered by Michigan, even after the visit, thus ending any sort of drama there.”
That‚Äôs certainly a good sign for Syracuse, but #CuseTwitterArmy did see this tweet Sunday night….

It looks like this saga won’t be over, until it’s over.
What’s up with Shaquille Grosvenor?
The Post Standard reported that Grosvenor planned to take a visit to Syracuse during the weekend of January 22nd. Since then, we haven’t heard a peep from the JUCO defensive lineman. We’ll know a lot more by Wednesday.
Syracuse Misses Out On Royal Silver III
Looking to beef up the defensive line, Syracuse offered Iowa Western (JUCO) d-lineman Royal Silver. Last night Silver pledged to Minnesota over SU and Memphis.
