The Syracuse coaching staff welcomed a few recruits to the team’s facilities over the weekend. Right now, SU has just one commit in its 2018 class, Baldwinsville tight end Gabe Horan. That number could increase soon though following the visits.

Five players from Irvington High School in New Jersey made the trek to Syracuse Saturday. Running back/strong safety Nim Salaam, wide receiver Jasiah Provillon, defensive end Lancine Turay, wide receiver/free safety Jason Antwi and quarterback Brandon Robinson all visited. All five players are in the 2018 class.
The two recruits to keep an eye on in this group are Provillon and Turay. Provillon is a three star receiver with offers from Boston College, Louisville, Maryland, Michigan, Wisconsin and Rutgers, per 247Sports.com. He also has an offer from SU.
Turay is in a similar position. He holds offers from Boston College, Maryland, Penn State, Rutgers and SU. The bad news for Syracuse fans is that Turay’s brother, Kemoko, plays for Rutgers, which gives the Scarlet Knights the recruiting edge.
Juan Wallace

Wallace hails from Washington D.C., where he plays for Woodson high school. He is a three star linebacker in the 2018 class.
In addition to Syracuse, he has offers from Duke, Maryland, Rutgers, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Pitt.
Linebacker is a major need for SU in the 2018 class with Zaire Franklin and Paris Bennett graduating after this season. Bringing in Wallace would aid the future linebacker transition.
Anthony Marrone

Marrone has been traveling all around the northeast lately on college visits. Last Thursday, the offensive lineman came to Syracuse. Before that he was at Villanova and then Fordham. This past weekend he went to Temple. Rutgers has also been recruiting Marrone.
He is yet to receive any Division I offers, per 247Sports.com.
