5)¬†Matt Moyer’s MSG Dunk
It’s been an up and down season for Moyer but things were certainly positive back on December 5th against UCONN. The redshirt freshmen put up a career-high 18 points in front of the bright lights of Madison Square Garden, including this ferocious put-back slam.
The play helped seal the game for SU and even got a vintage “ARE YOU SERIOUS?!” from Dickie V.
4) Tyus Battle’s Clutch Three vs Maryland
Battle has been responsible for a lot of key plays, both good and bad, this season.  I guess that just comes with the territory when you have one of the highest usage rates (28%) in the entire ACC. His first clutch play of the season, though, comes in at number 4 on the list. Trailing Maryland by one with just less than one minute left in regulation, SU desperately needed a bucket. So the Orange went to Battle and he delivered.

If Battle misses that three, it’s likely Maryland walks away from the Carrier Dome victorious.
3) Tyus Throws Down the Hammer
Battle has obviously hit plenty of clutch threes in an Orange uniform both this season and last season. But, he didn’t really have a memorable dunk to his name. That is until the sophomore spun around his defender, went baseline and climbed the ladder against Texas Southern.
The most underrated part about that dunk is Battle‚Äôs ability to pinpoint the ESPN camera at a moments notice. It‚Äôs one thing to do the dunk, it’s another thing to nail the dunk face.
2) Battle Forces OT at Florida State
Of all the clutch shots Battle has made this year, the Florida State triple tops the list.  It was one of those plays where everyone in the building knew exactly where the ball was going and Battle still somehow drilled it.
Unfortunately, Battle had two 10 second backcourt violations in the overtime period and SU went on to lose or else this play would’ve topped the list.
1)Frank Howard Steal and Score at Georgetown
The top play of the year is still Howard’s game-tying layup with under a minute left in regulation. It always feels good to beat Georgetown but doing so in comeback fashion on the road made it feel even sweeter.
And to make things even better Howard made that play in front of his hometown crowd.
