2020 Signees
QB: Dillon Markiewicz (McKinney North, McKinney, TX)
Size: 6-4.5, 215
Ranking: 1967th, 3-star, 82.5 overall (via 247sports.com)
Other Offers: Boise State, Stephen F. Austin
Dallas area QB lacks ratings and an impressive offer sheet, but presents plenty of upside based on his size and arm strength. Late bloomer who put up record numbers in one of high school footballs hotbed areas of the country as part of an air-raid style offense in his only year as starter. Committed to Syracuse right after visiting on Jan. 22nd. New OC/QB coach Sterlin Gilbert is a big reason why he chose SU, according to Mike McAlister of 247sports.com. Has solid mobility for his size as well. Baylor expressed interest late. Syracuse the only reported P5 offer.
QB: Jacobian Morgan (Canton, Canton, MS)
Size: 6-4, 200
Ranking: 2276th, 3-star, 81.5 (via 247sports.com)
Other Offers: Jackson State, Austin Peay
Morgan, like Markiewicz, is an upside prospect based on his height and frame of 6’4, 200. He also lacked an impressive offer sheet with no P5 offers. Committed on Jan 26th. Dino said he wanted to be more stealthy about who they were going after at the quarterback position. Virtually no one, according to reports out there, was going after Morgan at P5 level. But, his highlight tape and size, like Markiewicz, suggests he has potential.
RB: Sean Tucker (Calvert Hall College, Towson, MD)
Size: 5-10, 190
Ranking: 900th, 3-Star, 86 overall rating (via 247sports.com)
Other Offers: Air Force, Kent State, Rutgers, Wisconsin
Maryland-based back with speed for days (HS track star). Reported 4.28 40-yard dash. Needs to develop strength. Committed early on April 13th, 2019. Complementary style to Jarveon Howard.
RB: Marlowe Wax (Mount Saint Joseph, Baltimore, MD)
Size: 6-0, 219
Ranking: 1256th, 3-star, 84 overall (via 247sports.com)
Other Offers: East Carolina, Marshall, Pittsburgh, Kent State, Temple, Toledo
Another Maryland-back that committed the day after Tucker did. If Tucker is lightning, he’s more of a thunder. Known for breaking tackles. With lower ratings than Tucker, will need to prove his agility and vision translates at next level. HIGHLIGHTS
ATH/WR: Trebor Pena (Ocean Township, Oakhurst, NJ)
Size: 5-11, 180
Ranking: 1457th, 3-star, 84 overall (via 247sports.com)
Other Offers: Temple (flipped), Albany, Army, Air Force
Pena flipped his commitment from Temple on Nov. 22nd, 2019 and joined Syracuse the same day. He is listed as an athlete who has tons of speed. Played running back for his NJ high school. The local paper reported that he was going to be slot receiver at Temple so perhaps thats best bet right now. HIGHLIGHTS.
WR: Damien Alford (McArthur, Hollywood, FL)
Size: 6-5, 210
Ranking: 763rd, 3-star, 86 overall (via 247sports.com)
Other Offers: Florida, Georgia, Florida State, Tennessee, West Virginia, Miami, Penn State, Kentucky
One of the latest adds for Syracuse (committed shortly after Dec. 6th, 2019 visit) but is one of the biggest prizes of the class. Great size and catch radius at WR. Canadian who moved down to Florida before his senior season of HS. Offer sheet (above) is the most impressive of any 2020 SU commit. Unofficial to Miami and Official to Virginia as well. If there is a skill position player to be excited about in this class, it’s Alford.
WR: Ja’Vontae Williams (Glades Central, Belle Glade, FL)
Size: 6-0, 196
Ranking: 1183rd, 3-star, 85 overall (Via 247sports.com)
Other Offers: Oregon, Miami, Indiana, FIU, Illinois
Late add. Committed right after visit to Syracuse on December 13th, 2019. Another WR from talent-rich Florida. Went to same HS as Kelvin Benjamin and Santonio Holmes went too. Not super tall but very skilled and checks in as one of the higher rated commits in this cycle for SU.
WR/TE/LB/DB: Justin Barron (Suffield Academy, Suffield, CT)
Size: 6-4, 210
Ranking: 1315th, 3-star, 84.3 overall (via 247sports.com)
Other Offers: Boston College, Pittsburgh, Air Force, FIU, Fordham
Same HS as 2020 targets WR Jaden Dottin and QB Tyler Van Dyke (Miami commit). Classified as an athlete and plays both ways. Coaching staff apparently fighting for him because he could play so many different positions. Best guess at this point would be he plays on defensive side of the ball. Questions about his speed as a wideout for Babers offense. Committed on June 16th, 2019 after camp visit.
TE: Steven Mahar (Aquinas Institue, Rochester, NY)
Size: 6-5, 225
Ranking: 819th, 3-star, 86 overall (via 247sports.com)
Other Offers: Boston College, Buffalo, UCONN
One of the highest rated commits in cycle. Mahar, a local guy from Rochester, could be a nice Aaron Hackett fill-in at TE for after he graduates in 2020. Justin Lustig was main recruiter, according to 247sports.com.
TE/DE: Maximilian Mang (Germany)
Size: 6-7, 230
Ranking: NR on 247sports.com
Other Offers: Eastern Michigan, Toledo, Central Michigan, UMASS
One of the surprise signings from Germany on day one of the early signing period. Mang, is an unknown from Germany, with a so-so offer sheet. His size jumps out at 6’7 though. Considering Luke Benson and Aaron Hackett are two solid options at tight end and Steven Mahar, one of the highest rated signees in the class, is also a TE, the Orange have a much better outlook at that position than in the past years.
OG/DL: Josh Ilaoa (Mallard Creek, Charlotte, NC)
Size: 6-3, 280
Ranking: 1845th, 3-star, 83 overall (via 247sports.com)
Other Offers: ECU, Hawaii, Elon, Illinois, Colorado State, James Madison, Kent State
Unlike some of the other targets and commits in this cycle, Ilaoa has a college ready body right away. At 280 pounds, he is strong and relatively quick for his size. He even told Orange Fizz he had talks with coaching staff about playing some Tight End. He plays all positions of the line both ways in HS. His most realistic fit is offensive guard.
OT: Garth Barclay (York Suburban, York, PA)
Size: 6-7, 250
Ranking: 1147th, 3-star, 85 overall (via 247sports.com)
Other Offers: UVA, Temple, UMass, Buffalo, Bowling Green, Central Mich.
Offered after attending Syracuse camp on June 8th, 2019. Super tall tackle with size that projects great. Height seems to be a point of emphasis for linemen with staff. Played both ways in HS, being recruited as OT. Committed on June 18th, 2019 shortly after camp visit. Has made a big jump ratings wise (from 81 to 85) recently.
OL: Mark Petry (Germany)
Size: 6-5, 265
Ranking: 3-star, 80 overall (via 247sports.com)
Other Offers: Eastern Michigan (flipped), UMASS, Toledo
One of two German surprises on National Signing Day. Petry is a JUCO transfer who flipped his commitment from Eastern Michigan. He brings help to the position group that clearly needs it. Petry is the lowest rated recruit in the class, according to 247sports.com
P/K James Williams (Athens Academy, Athens, GA)
Size: 6-1, 182
Ranking: 5th overall punter and 12th overall kicker in class (via Kohl’s), 82 overall (on 247sports.com)
Other Offers: Hawaii, Air Force, Army
With Sterling Hofrichter out of eligibility next year, Syracuse needed a punter in this class and went out and got one of the best in the class. Williams also had interest from Alabama (no reported offer). He should be ready to fill the vacant hole next year and add to the growing tradition of strong special-teamers at Syracuse #DixonforHeisman.
DE/LB: Latarie Kinsler (Pahokee, Pahokee, FL)
Size: 6-2, 204
Ranking: 668th, 3-star, 87 overall (via 247sports.com)
Other Offers: Miami, LSU, Oregon, Louisville, Texas A&M, Penn State
Highest rated recruit in 2020 class right now. 4-star on some sites. Edge-rusher who committed to Louisville really early (April ‘18) and then de-committed in October ‘18. Small but dynamic and disruptive. Came to Syracuse in late March ‘19. Official visit on June 20th and then committed on November 2nd, 2019.
DE: Kevin Lemieux (The Governors Academy, Ashburnham, MA)
Size: 6-4, 235
Ranking: 1338th, 3-star, 84 overall (via 247sports.com)
Other Offers: Boston College, Army, Dartmouth, UCONN, Rutgers, Tulane, Maine
Strong side end with great height (6-4 like Alton Robinson). Likely needs to add strength, develop technique and finesse to prove he can make the leap from Massachusetts ball to D1. First commit of 2020 cycle. HIGHLIGHTS
DE: Leon Lowery (North Brunswick, North Brunswick, NJ)
Size: 6-3, 205
Ranking: 1482nd, three-star, 84 overall (via 247sports.com)
Other Offers: Indiana, UMASS, Rutgers, Temple
Lowery committed to the ‘Cuse after a great showing at SU’s camp on June 16th, 2019. He passed up Rutgers, despite going to HS roughly eighth miles from the campus. As you might notice in the tweet below from CuseNation.com, this guy has a lot of speed coming off the line of scrimmage. Lowery’s main task will be bulking up to get ready for the size of ACC offensive lineman. There’s plenty to like about Lowery’s potential.
S: Robert Hanna (Miami Palmetto, Miami, FL)
Size: 6-0,170
Ranking: 1058th, 3-star, 85 overall (via 247sports.com)
Other Offers: Miami, Louisville, Liberty, Pitt, UCF, USF, UAB
He came up for a second visit with HS teammate and fellow target, WR Kentron Poitier, after unofficially visiting SU back on April 13th, 2019. One of his only other visits was hometown Miami. Play-making safety from Miami Palmetto, same HS as Cornellius Nunn. Like Nunn, Syracuse beat out Miami for him. HIGHLIGHTS
ATH/S: Charles Bell (Quince Orchard, Gaithersburg, MD) (DE-COMMITED)
Size: 5-11.5, 195
Ranking: 1006th, 3-star, 84 overall (via 247sports.com)
Other Offers: West Virginia, South Carolina, Maryland, Boston College, Pittsburgh, Virginia Tech
Bell de-commited on December 2nd, 2019. This came after Bell picked up offers from WVU and South Carolina. 247sports.com reports he plans to visit those schools. Explosive safety with solid instincts. Unofficially visited campus in March and then OV this past weekend. Orange beat out nearby Maryland for Bell originally.
S: Chase Atkinson (Blythewood, Blythewood, SC)
Size: 5-11, 180
Ranking: 1848th, 3-star, 82.8 overall (via 247sports.com)
Other Offers: Coastal Carolina
Committed in summer, signed as part of NSD II in February because he was waiting till he went on OV on Jan. 16th. From the same HS that Robert Braswell finished his HS career at in Blythewood, SC, Atkinson is yet another DB in this class. His ratings didn’t come out till later. Relatively late-bloomer. Runs a reported solid 4.4 40 yard dash.
Size: 6-0, 185
Ranking: 84.25, 3-star (via 247sports.com)
Other Offers: Virginia Tech (originally committed there), Florida Atlantic, Texas Tech
Carter is an interesting prospect. He actually committed to VT way back in 2017. After de-commiting there Carter went to prep school in Matthews, N.C. and is now a member of the 2020 class instead of 2019. His rating used to be an 86 overall on 247sports.com. Has some family ties to Syracuse area. Signed on NSD II.
S: Ben Labrosse (Vanier College, Montreal, QC)
Size: 6-2, 200
Ranking: 1052nd, 3-star, 85 overall (via 247sports.com)
Other Offers: None reported (from Canada)
Labrosse went from unranked and unknown to what appears to be a hidden gem. The Canadian doesn’t wow you with size but his delayed ranking on 247sports.com puts him as one of the top commits of the cycle for Syracuse. Add him to the mix of a promising secondary core for the future, perhaps. Ratings recently slipped from 87 overall to 85 overall.
LB/ATH: Stefon Thompson (Zebulon B. Vance, Charlotte, NC)
Size: 6-0, 222
Ranking: 1343rd, 3-star, 84 overall (via 247sports.com)
Other Offers: Wisconsin, Akron, App State, Coastal Carolina, Charlotte
Syracuse offered Thompson in early May, he came up and camped for an unofficial visit on June 14th and verbally committed just seven days later on Friday, June 21st. Not a crazy offer sheet, but has good speed for his size. Will almost certainly play linebacker for the Orange. Second straight year Syracuse has grabbed a backer from NC (Kpogba in ’19). Big jump in rankings recently from 81 overall to 84 overall.
2020 Targets
QB: Christian Veilleux (Canisius HS, Buffalo, NY) (RECLASSIFIED TO 2021)
Size: 6-3.5, 190
Ranking: 241st, 4-star, 90 overall (via 247sports.com)
Other Offers: Michigan, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Tennessee, South Carolina
As some expected Veilluex is now officially a 2021 prospect. His ratings are really, really good. Like Tommy DeVito neighborhood. Late-bloomer originally from Ottawa, garnering a lot of buzz lately. Alabama, Clemson, Penn State have shown interest. The Canadian prospect visited the Syracuse campus for two days in Mid-May 2019 and called it “amazing.” Would be one of the biggest gets of Dino era and is still a huge priority going forward just not a 2020 guy anymore.
QB: Cade Fortin (North Carolina Transfer, Immediately Eligible) (UCF COMMIT)
Size: 6-3, 220
Top 3 (via 247sports.com): Kansas, Vanderbilt, Syracuse
Cade started his career at North Carolina. Fortin would be SU’s first QB commit. The four star prospect transferred to a JUCO this past year after Carolina announced a coaching change. He started two games and played in four total in his freshman season for UNC (32/65, 388 yds, 1 TD, 1 INT). Syracuse was Fortin’s first visit since entering transfer portal. Hard to say when he is going to announce, but he has already visited all his top schools. Kansas and Vandy might provide more starter potential right away, although Les Miles’ Kansas team just welcomed Florida Transfer Fellipe Franks on a visit.
QB: Mason Garcia (Carolina Forest, Myrtle Beach, SC) (COMMITTED TO ECU)
Size: 6-4, 205
Ranking: 797th, 3-star, 86 overall (via 247sports.com)
Other Offers: East Carolina, Mizzou, App State, Akron, Bowling Green
Pro-style QB with great size. Received interest from Clemson, South Carolina and Georgia, no reported offers. Syracuse, Missouri and East Carolina seemed to be front-runners. Originally planned visit to SU but never came. Staying nearby at ECU. HIGHLIGHTS
QB: Will Howard (Downingtown West, Downington, PA) (COMMITTED TO KANSAS STATE)
Size: 6-4, 205
Ranking: 1019th, 3 star, 86 overall (via 247sports.com)
Other Offers: Maryland, Kansas St, Bowling Green, Minnesota, Cincy, Harvard
Already made three trips to CNY: Unofficial in October ‘18, SU Camp in summer ‘18 and came for Junior day in March ‘19. Has been linked to Maryland and Kansas State of late, though. Good build. Strong arm and poise in pocket. HIGHLIGHTS
QB: Brett Nezat (Saraland, Saraland, AL) (COMMITTED TO ARKANSAS STATE)
Size: 6-4.5, 225
Ranking: 1350th, 3-star, 83.6 overall (via 247sports.com)
Offers: Arkansas State, Central Mich, East Illinois, No Power 5
Nezat, a Three-star quarterback from Alabama, visited Syracuse recently and was told he was at “the top of their board”, according to Syracuse.com. He has yet to receive an offer though.
Ratings are pretty solid, 83.6 on 247sports.com, but not a lot of great offers. His high school plays a similar up-tempo like system. Likely between him and Case (below) for offer and coaching staff is gonna wait and see who they like more.
QB: Casey Case (Winter Park HS, Winter Park, FL) (COMMITTED TO BUFFALO)
Size: 6-6, 195
Ranking: NR on 247sports.com, considered 2-star prospect
Offers: Wagner, Steston, Buffalo, Southern Miss, Troy
Case, a tall lanky Florida based QB target, also visited the campus in Mid-June and left with interest but no reported offer. It appears the Orange are going to wait and see more from Nezat and Case and decide which one deserves an offer more.
At 6-6, 195, Case has some potential. He is an accurate passer. However, his ratings are much lower than Nezat. He isn’t rated at all on any major recruiting sites. Feels like a plan B at the position after missing out on Garcia and Veilluex reclassifying, but Nezat (above) or Case would likely commit with offer and both have potential.
RB: Lamy Constant (Canarsie, Brooklyn, NY) (COMMITTED TO WEST VIRGINIA)
Size: 6-0, 186
Ranking: 195th in ESPN300, 4-star, 91 overall on 247sports.com
Other Offers: West Virginia, Boston College, Florida, Michigan, LSU, Tennessee, Texas A&M
Top NY back in 2020 class that would be one of, if not, the best recruiting get in Dino Babers era. Syracuse has geographical advantage but Constant hasn’t taken a visit yet. West Virginia appears to be the front-runners, one of his two coach visits (Rutgers is other).
RB: Jalen Berger (Don Bosco Prep, Ramsey, NJ)
Size: 6-0, 187
Ranking: 151 on ESPN300, 4-star, 97 overall on 247sports.com
Other Offers: Alabama, Ohio State, Penn State, Oregon, VT, Michigan, Florida, etc
Former Teammate of Tommy DeVito at Don Bosco Prep. ESPN lists him as 13th best back in 2020 class. Got offers from everyone under the sun. Elite speed and athleticism. Would be instant playmaker. Committing at Adidas All-America game on January 4th, 2020
WR: Bryce Gowdy (Deerfield Beach, Deerfield Beach, FL) (COMMITTED TO GEORGIA TECH)
Size: 6-2, 180
Ranking: 342nd, 4-star, 89 overall (via 247sports.com)
Other Offers: Florida State, Florida, Arkansas, Oregon, Tennessee, Penn State
Fringe ESPN300 receiver. Toured campus on June 20th as part of that big weekend. Also visits with West Virginia and Georgia Tech. Syracuse was his very first offer. He’s really risen since then and SU now has to compete with offers from elite level schools across the nation.
WR: Kentron Poitier (Miami Palmetto, Miami, FL) (FLORIDA STATE COMMIT)
Size: 6-3.5, 205
Ranking: 488th, 3-star, 88 overall (via 247sports.com)
Other Offers: Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Oregon, Florida, Miami, Michigan
Syracuse was on him early. Official visit on June 20th-22nd, 2019. Fringe 4-star with great athleticism and speed. Could basically go anywhere he wants. Feels like SU has realistic shot because of mutual interest early on. Main recruiter was Nick Monroe. Same HS as S Cornelius Nunn and fellow 2020 target Robert Hanna. Down to Florida, Florida State and Syracuse. Announces AT 9 AM on December 18th.
WR: Malick Meiga (Cegep du Vieux, Montreal, QC) (PENN STATE COMMIT)
Size: 6-4, 190
Ranking: 855th, 3-star, 85.6 overall (via 247sports.com)
Other Offers: Louisville, West Virginia, Penn State, Baylor
About as good as it gets measurables wise for a wide receiver. Tall but also super speedy with estimated 4.42 40 yard dash. Could be a major red zone threat. Camped with Syracuse on June 8th. Also has visited Louisville, camped with Penn State and even camped with Alabama (no reported offer). Major priority in this recruiting cycle. Included Syracuse along with WVU, Penn State and Louisville in his top schools in an Instagram Q&A.
WR: Jaden Dottin (Suffield Academy, Suffield, CT) -(COMMITTED TO PENN STATE)
Size: 6-3, 167
Ranking: 169 on ESPN300, 4-star, 91 overall by 247sports.com
Other Offers: Penn State, Michigan, BC, UCONN, Michigan St, Pittsburgh

Ranking: 885th, 3-star, 85 overall (via 247sports.com)
Other Offers: Michigan St, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Pittsburgh, West Virginia
Placed Syracuse in his top 6 (along with the other five schools listed above) on May 19th, 2019. Touchdown-machine (13 in 10 games LY) from a football power state in Georgia. Michigan State appears to be front-runner, according to recruiting experts. HIGHLIGHTS
WR/RB: Eamonn Dennis (St John’s, Worcester, MA) (COMMITTED TO MICHIGAN)
Size: 5-10, 173
Ranking: 469th, 3-star, 88 overall (via 247sports.com)
Other Offers: Michigan, Miss St, Rutgers, UCONN, Duke, Georgia Tech
Electric spark plug with unreal speed. Undersized as both a running back and wide receiver. Think Sean Riley. Visited SU campus twice, including once for junior day in March ‘19 but chose Michigan. HIGHLIGHTS.
ATH: Jordan Addison (Tuscarora, Frederick, MD) (COMMITTED TO PITTSBURGH)
Size: 5-11, 161
Ranking: 1252th, 3-star, 83.6 overall (via 247sports.com)
Other Offers: Pittsburgh, ECU, Maryland, Notre Dame, Virginia Tech
Skinny, super athletic wide-out/defensive back. Most likely will be a wide receiver. State champion in the long jump for Maryland in HS. Another guy that chose Pittsburgh over SU.
TE/WR: Jalen Williams (Wekiva, Apopka, FL) (COMMITTED TO INDIANA)
Size: 6-6, 200
Ranking: 790th, 3-star, no overall rating yet on 247sports.com
Other Offers: Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Tennessee, Troy, FIU
Big-bodied receiver with tons of size, some sites even list him at 6-7. Projects as a TE once he adds some mass. Toured SU campus during junior day in early March ‘19. Offered in December ‘18. Tweets about Syracuse relatively often. HIGHLIGHTS

Ranking: 1348th, 3-star, 83 overall (via 247sports.com)
Other Offers: Pittsburgh, ECU, Vandy, UVA, Iowa State, Minnesota, Indiana
Syracuse made top 8 (along with 7 other schools above). Called city “beautiful” on tour and likes Orange’s offensive style. Virginia, not even in his original top 8, swooped in late to land verbal though.
OT: James Pogorelc (Chantilly, Chantilly, VA)
Size: 6-7, 280
Ranking: NR on 247sports.com
Other Offers: Stanford, Duke, Villanova, Wake Forest, ODU, Bryant, Fordham, UMass
Incredibly tall tackle with potential based on size alone. Even 6-8 on some sites. Late bloomer of sorts. Syracuse offered after attending satellite camp on June 4th. Crystal ball says Stanford 6/6.
OT: Jeremiah Banks-Wall (Montini Catholic, Lombard, IL) (BOWLING GREEN COMMIT)
Size: 6-6, 250
Ranking: 1923th, 2-star, 79 overall (via 247sports.com)
Other Offers: Eastern Illinois, Southern Illinois, Arkansas State, Bowling Green
Syracuse was his very first offer back in January ‘19. Visited the campus for junior day in March ‘19. Only 2-stars. Slim, tall tackle from a powerhouse HS program. Quick hands and feet. Feels like SU is the front-runners.
OL/C: Jake Renfro (Providence Catholic, New Lenox, IL) (COMMITTED TO CINCY)
Size: 6-3, 290
Ranking: 1716th, 2-star, 80 overall (via 247sports.com)
Other Offers: Cincinnati, Ball State, Columbia, Dartmouth
Orange became first power-five school to offer him on May 29th, 2019. Just two-stars, would need to develop instincts overtime. Based on prestige of program, Syracuse has great shot.

Ranking: 646th, 3-star, 87 overall (via 247sports.com)
Other Offers: Ole Miss, Buffalo, UCF, Washington State
Canadian prospect that moved south to Florida and is gaining steam. Syracuse was very first offer back in July of 2018. Used to be viewed as LB/DE tweener type but gained weight. Now most see him as an explosive 3-technique. Quick hands. Syracuse appears to be one of the favorites.
DE: Amin Vanover (St Joseph’s Regional, Montvale, NJ) (COMMITTED TO PENN STATE)

Received an offer from SU early in June of ‘18. Same HS as fellow target Jalen Williams. He often throws to him because Davis-Hamilton, although listed as an ATH, is a QB for Apopka. Mainly being recruited as a running back though it appears. HIGHLIGHTS
ATH: Israel Abanikanda (Abraham Lincoln, Brooklyn, NY) (COMMITTED TO PITT)

Committed to Pitt right after OV weekend with Syracuse on June 21st. Athlete that many see as a slot wide receiver and/or shifty running back. Also has some potential at defensive back, according to scouts. HIGHLIGHTS
S/OLB: Elijuwan Mack (St Joseph’s Regional, Montvale, NJ) (RUTGERS COMMIT)
Size: 6-0, 185
Ranking: 1355th, 3-star, 83 overall (via 247sports.com)
Other Offers: Rutgers, Boston College, Buffalo, ECU, Louisville
Same HS as 4-star target Amin Vanover. Both came for junior day in early March ‘19. SU offered him in January ‘19. Also toured Rutgers (seems to be two-horse race between Rutgers and Syracuse). HIGHLIGHTS
S: Jared Greenfield (Narbonne, Harbor City, CA) (COMMITTED TO OREGON)
Size: 6-0, 180
Ranking:478th, 3-star, 87.7 overall (via 247sports.com)
Other Offers: Oregon, Cal, Arizona State, USC
Fringe 4-star safety from California. Syracuse made cut for “Top 5” with other four schools above. Reports indicate he never made it out for a visit though and is set to announce on June 10th, 2019. Seems like a long shot but impressive SU made list, considering geography and talent-level. Oregon is heavy favorite.
WR: Jahvante Royal (St Thomas Aquina, Fort Lauderdale, FL) (COMMITTED TO PITT)
Size: 6-3, 185
Ranking: 298 on ESPN100, 4-star, 90 overall on 247sports.com
Other Offers: Penn State, Georgia, Kentucky, Florida State, Ohio State, Tennessee
Plays both ways. More hype as WR right now it appears. Same HS as 2019 DL commit Jason Munoz. Another Florida athlete with Nick Monroe on the trail. Penn State early favorite.
