When Dior Johnson, a five-star recruit in the class of 2022, committed to Syracuse Men’s Basketball last February, it came as a surprise. Well, here’s maybe less of a surpriseРJohnson has decommitted from Syracuse.
Syracuse will remain on his list of schools, but he is opening his recruitment back up. Reports say this was a mutual decision and both sides, including Jim Boeheim and Gerry McNamara, are okay with the move.
Johnson was Syracuse’s highest ranked recruit since Carmelo Anthony. It was just too good to be true.
