Wes Brown, who writes for NBAprospects.com, one of the top Canadian prospects resources out there for coaches of all levels, joined Tim Leonard on the FizzCast this week. Brown, who used to be an NBA scout, discussed what other NBA scouts were telling him about Brissett’s game that has allowed him to make such a rise and debated his chances of being a sustainable pro at the next level.
The Canadian prospects expert also broke down how Brissett’s game is really not all that much like incoming recruit Quincy Guerrier’s game, despite what others have suggested. Brown describes why he thinks Guerrier has a chance to make a big splash in his freshman year at Syracuse and potentially go one and done. We finished our chat with Brown by discussing the likelihood that Tyus Battle gets drafted.
