Apparently, one time wasn’t good enough. Jamal Holloway will be taking a second visit to Syracuse (as well as Virginia) on the weekend of July 15, according to this tweet he sent out on Sunday:
Holloway first visited Syracuse a month ago with his teammates from Camden High School in New Jersey, where he plays defensive end. Orange fans know Camden for Holloway’s teammate Dymelle Parker, who committed to Syracuse last month. This time Holloway will visit with his family, who have yet to see the school.
When it comes to size, Holloway is not your typical lineman. he stands at only 6’3″ and 215 lbs, according to 247sports.com. What Holloway loses¬†in size he makes up for with speed. He’s very quick off the line and has the ability to shed blocks or just blow by offensive tackles. He has quick feet, and according to his Hudl page runs a 4.98 40-yard dash.
Along with Syracuse and Virginia, Holloway also has offers from Michigan State, North Carolina, Syracuse recruiting rival Rutgers and others. There hasn’t been much getting out about who the frontrunners are to this point, but Holloway did send out this tweet on Sunday:
