Is Syracuse Closing In on 2024 Four-Star Guard Elijah Moore?

The Class of 2023 seemed to have been a river running dry for Syracuse men’s basketball. But how about the class of 2024? 247sports.com contributor Trevor Andershock, who writes for Peegs.com (an Indiana site/message board) put in a Crystal Ball for four-star guard Elijah Moore to come to the Hill. Now we know, you might be confused as to how Andershock could make that prediction, when Indiana wasn’t close to Moore’s top five, but hey, the guy knows his stuff. He’s 40-for-40 all-time on Crystal Ball predictions and three-for-three in this cycle.

There’s a look at Moore’s top five. He discussed the school’s with On3Sports, and here’s what he said about SU:

“Syracuse feels great. I’ve been there twice and the experience was great. The coaches are really cool guys and they have that level of support and knowledge I can see myself playing with in two years.”

Moore’s two Syracuse visits have seemed to pay dividends, as he’s developed a great relationship with the coaching staff, and Adam Weitsman, now SU’s number one NIL magnate. Weistman is very high on the NYC native, and where the recycling giant goes, the money follows.

“He’s a franchise player. A national championship-type player,” Adam Weitsman said of Moore, adding that he admires Moore’s wonderful work ethic, great attitude and an “amazing family.”

Could the Orange snag a major recruiting win with the #100 player in the class of 2024? Only time (and maybe dollar signs) will tell.
