McOrange: We’re Loving It

Scott McCummings, a 6’2″, 218-pound dual threat quarterback has already carved himself a small piece of Doug Marrone’s heart.

The Orange has it’s eyes on yet another quarterback from the commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Apparently so does UConn… and this could get ugly, folks.

Scott McCummings, a 6’2″, 218-pound dual threat quarterback from Natick, MA, has already carved himself a small piece of Doug Marrone’s heart.

Both¬†SU and Connecticut have been the only schools to officially offer this rising senior, but it’s not stopping him from keeping his options (pun certainly intended) open.

“I’m going to the BC camp. I will be at the Syracuse camp and the UConn camp. I’m still working on the Vanderbilt camp. I may just do one day at each so I can fit them in,” he says.

And you thought your girlfriend was indecisive.

McCummings has got the speed, size and talent to put him in multiple places on the offense.

Boston College is looking at him as not just a signal caller, but as the ever-popular “all around athlete.”

In his junior season, he completed 40% of his passes for 11 TDs and 3 INTs.

The dual threat comes into play because he also ran for almost 500 yards and 4 scores on the ground.

While this young gunner may not be McGoing anywhere yet, The Fizz would like to see him McCumming to the Dome very soon.
