Art Jones Eats Lobsters and Quarterbacks

Just how different is a Doug Marrone Camp vs. a Groobers’ one? “I don’t know, I was really just worried about getting back.” Thanks, Art.

Busy week for Team Fizz ends with a FizzCast, a Utica Club Light and a barcalounger.

Thanks to all our readers. Our daily hits have more than doubled since we launched last August and this was our most trafficked week ever. Keep it locked for football season.

Early in the week we dispatched Ted Conroy to Big East Media Days in Lil’ Rhodie, as¬†he churned out tweets and podcasts with Art(hur) Jones, Mike Owen and Don McPherson.

Midweek we were in DEFCON 3 mode as Fab Melo committed to the Orange.

And today we bring you another weekly FizzCast.

Art(hur) Jones talks to Conroy about returning from his injury and getting to full-strength.

Just how different is a Doug Marrone Camp vs. a Groobers’ one?

“I don’t know, I was really just worried about getting back. Just helping the younger guys, helping them with their technique, trying to get them better.”

Thanks Art (as¬†NunesMagician skillfully pointed out: Was there a memo when he officially shortened his name?). You forgot to mention how your new coach doesn’t run into the bathroom during practice and start weeping uncontrollably, asking Jim Brown for forgiveness.

Mike Owen weighed in on GP2.

“Little rusty at first, but he’s been good. I can see why he was the number-one quarterback in the nation. He throws a good ball. I was surprised. Four years off, not throwing a football. But I was like, ‘He can still throw it.'”
