Syracuse received more good news. Bourama Sidibe is the Orange’s second recruit from the Class of 2017. The 6’11” center and forward currently plays for St. Benedict’s Prep in Newark, NJ.
247Sports lists Sidibe as a four-star player ranking 89th in the nation, 24th at his position as a forward and as the top player in New Jersey. Sidibe is not ranked in the 2017 ESPN 100 Recruiting Database, but he has a score of 82, which is the same as players ranked 88 through 100.
Sidibe’s commitment to SU comes just over a week after Oshae Brissett announced he would be joining the Orange next year.
Now with two recruits secured, Syracuse coaches and fans can be happy. But it’s not time to get comfortable with the current hand yet. There are still other cards on the table SU hopes to pick up as the team builds for the future.
