where Syracuse just lost the first game, 70 to 66 to Texas, and what was a very frustrating affair

The Orange were struggling out of the gates. Texas was shooting 60% from the field at halftime

and the Orange were able to battle back. Eddie Lampkin had a really dominant performance down low

The Orange were able to bounce back into this game and even tie it at one point. but at the end of the day, a couple of things that have been Constance all season for this team

continued to haunt them. The free throws, 9 of 18 from the line, never going to win a game like that

And also the three-pointers. Syracuse started the game 0 of 5 from 3 and finished a little under 25%

It's just unacceptable stuff. And Syracuse has to build on it. Adrian Autry was very frustrated in the postgame press conference

He said, we have to win those. Unacceptable. It's just unacceptable. So you can see Syracuse and Texas behind me

It will play the winner of those two teams, Texas Tech and St. Joe's tomorrow

That game is going on right now. That'll be a 7 p.m. tip. But yeah, at the end of the day, Syracuse continues to have these flaws

And we knew it was a matter of time. They were 3 and 0. They were able to squeak by Le Moyne, Colgate, and Youngstown State

And it was just a matter of time before one of these teams actually prove them wrong

And this was that moment. So like I said, Syracuse has an opportunity to bounce back tomorrow against either Texas Tech or St. Joe
