Syracuse Beats Georgia Tech: What Did We Learn?

Hey, Fist Bands, this is Henry Daly here coming to you live from the JMA Wireless Dome after Syracuse's 62 to 55 win over Georgia Tech

Where was Syracuse's first ACC win of the season as the team now improves to 7 and 8 overall and are now 1 in 3 in ACC play

In the team's first ACC win of the season, it was JJ Starling who led the way for the Orange

scoring a team high 20 points, adding five rebounds. Starling hit some clutch free throws down the stretch, as well as Chris Bell, who added 13 points off the bench for the Orange and they hit three points

In this one, it was a struggle for the Orange to take care of the ball as they again turned the ball over 18 times

but it didn't hurt them as Georgia Tech turned the ball over 13 times. That stat isn't the only one that reflected sort of an ugly game as the two teams struggled on offense

with Syracuse shooting just 39% from the field and Georgia Tech shooting 36%

Despite the Orange's struggles from the field and from the three-point line, the Orange will look to carry their momentum into the nice game against Boston College
