Is Adrian Autry Getting Enough Credit for SU's Run?

What a response from Adrian Autry's squad. 20-10 on the season now. 11-8 in the ACC

Still alive for a double-bye in the conference arena. Syracuse has never been out of the quarterfinals in the ACC tournament

so a massive step potentially in that direction. But let's talk about Adrian Autry for a second

What, I mean, this guy deserves so much praise, so much credit

Not enough can be said about the job he's doing. You think about all he's had to manage this season

Suspensions, injuries, a short rotation, adversity, travel. He's dealt the worst of him, and look at what he's been able to do with it

This team, I mean, 20 wins is an unbelievable accomplishment. Haven't won that many games since 2019

And when you think about the last few years of Syracuse basketball, it's been disappointing, frustrating, annoying

And to be where we are today, sitting here saying that Syracuse

still has a shot at the NCAA tournament this week, everything they've been through this season, is a remarkable accomplishment

And not enough praise can be heaped on to Adrian Autry. The guy has done an incredible job in year one

You know, when we get players like Judah Minson-Chrispell and Quader Copeland that wear their emotions on their sleeves

and you don't have to dismiss a player from the team in Benny Williams, then you got your Quader guys and your JJ Starlings

your Malik Browns, your Justin Taylors. It's a mix, and it's not a deep mix

There's not a lot of depth in this rotation. For that, Autry deserves a lot of credit. His assistant coaches deserve a lot of credit for developing players

And having guys be better as a senior that's gone along, Bell's consistency has been a huge, huge development

over these past few weeks in my Syracuse's winning games. And for that, Autry, it all comes back to Autry

He deserves a huge amount of credit for the Orange. Now, you know, definitely playing in the second round

potentially having a double bye in the conference tournament. One more game left in the regular season, Tuesday night against Clemson
